• Koh Hey (Coral Island) is a small island located in the Rawai subdistrict, Muang district, Phuket province approximately 10 kilometers from the coast. There are many interesting water activities such as snorkeling, parasailing, canoeing, and banana boating. This island is very rich in resources of both clear water and clean white sand beaches. Many types of coral such as staghorn coral, parrot coral, and dish coral can be found right here. Moreover, Coral island is also a habitat for a large number of hornbills.
• Racha Island is an island that has a flat area next to the beach. It has developed into accommodations and restaurants for tourists. It’s also a place that has densely formed coral reefs which are known for diving and snorkeling spots to see the beauty of various kinds of coral reefs.
• Maiton Island is a small island in the Andaman Sea that is dubbed the Maldives of Thailand. It’s located in the southeast of Phuket Island. There is clear and beautiful seawater surrounding so that you can see many kinds of beautiful fish swimming around clearly including lionfish, parrotfish, clownfish, and tigerfish. If you’re lucky enough, you might encounter dolphins playing in the waves. Moreover, there are also complete corals and a quiet atmosphere which is suitable for relaxation as well.
• Koh Khai Nai or Khai Meow Island, the reason why it is called Khai Meow Island is that many cats were abandoned on this island. • Phi Phi Islands, the islands that are very well-known as a paradise for tourists from every part of the world. The islands consist of Viking Cave, a tourist attraction in the emerald Andaman Sea of Krabi province. It is a cliff cave shelter in the south corner of Phi Phi Lay Island opposite the famous Maya bay, Pileh Lagoon, a narrow bay with only one entrance. The inside lagoon is as beautiful as owning a private lake because of the stunning emerald green sea. It’s very quiet and does not have a lot of waves which is suitable for relaxing in the atmosphere and admiring the natural beautiful scenery and the high gorges which are very steep and enclosed the sea. In addition to admiring the beauty of the nature of Pileh Lagoon, you will be able to feel seeking adventure into the mysterious lake. Other than swimming, this place is also a very good spot for snorkeling to observe brain corals, disc corals, staghorn corals, and Maya Bay, formed by the erosion process in some parts of the limestone mountain. The surrounding cliff is collapsed into a large opening bay which looks like a small crescent-coved surrounded by limestones mountain and connected to the outside seawater. With the bright green, clear seawater, and clean white-sand beach with fine sand. This place becomes the popular spot where the movie “The Beach” was filmed.
